Solitude Creek by Jeffery Deaver

4.0

I always forget how Deaver likes to lead readers down the garden path and then yank it out from under us. This book starts with a stampede for the exits in a nightclub, and then switches to a task force on the trail of drug dealers. Generally, I enjoyed the story, but Deaver has some issues around accurate descriptions from a woman's point of view. It's hard to put your finger on, but it's just off.
