Billy Summers by Stephen King

3.75

I enjoyed the story, like I do all Stephen King stories. But the older he gets the less like real people his characters sound. The main character unironically refers to a woman as a “bodacious babe.” The dialogue just isn’t it.
Not a typical SK horror book, but an entertaining story. Like usual with his work I really enjoyed the first 2/3 and felt it fell apart quite a bit towards the end, though not as completely as his books tend to.
