A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Unpopular opinion? I wasn't crazy about Feyre, but learning more about Tamlin was enough to keep me reading. Most of the book was kind of slow and boring. I feel like Tamlin taking Feyre to live with him didn't make a lot of sense until the latter half of the book. There was no real conflict or strife, except in the beginning when Feyre is hunting (which was reminiscent of Hunger Games for a bit) and kills the Fae wolf thing. Then she's swept away by a scary beast (who isn't really a beast...) to live without her horrible, ungrateful family to worry about, but she misses them?? Anyway, obviously, A LOT of people loved this book, and clearly, I read the whole thing for some reason, but something was missing for me to really care about Feyre and her story. I'm way more interested in Tamlin, but just from being alive with eyes and ears, I know that interest isn't supposed to last. I may try the next book at some point, but not 100% sure.
