The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow

4.0

The first half is a rehash of P&P from Mary's point of view; while many reviewers seem to have found the unimproved Mary of the first section a tiresome bore, I felt a lot of sympathy for her (possibly because in a similar situation I can see myself acting the same.)

The Mary of the second half, once she begins to really know herself, was lovely.
