This was lovely: laugh-out-loud funny, emotional in all the right ways. It's not super "historical," or at least not accurately so. There are a few quotes that are quite viral; for example, a rip-off of the Riverdale quote about football and triumphing. But overall, the book was very sweet. I loved Gabriel and Gwen's siblinghood/friendship, and Arthur's inability to stay serious made me cackle quite a few times.
Overall, a good, quick, easy read. Full of wonderful, friendly faces and characters. Plus it had an orange cat! I loved it.
