Little Elliot, Big Family by Mike Curato

5.0

I adore Elliot and am so glad he and Mouse are back again! The sweetness, delight, and happiness are back, and as Elliot wanders around one day when Mouse is gone, Curato creates a love letter of sorts to families, immigrant culture, and the history of NYC. The illustrations are charming and the scale is used to enhance the mood on each page, and combined with simpler text, it will be a great book for younger kids also. I hope there are more Elliot stories to come!
