A very up and down experience. A great story with complex and mostly likeable characters, but the romance gets in the way of the story for me sometimes. The focus of the story is the romance, and everything else comes second. I realize that's what a lot of people want, and it's not like I didn't know what u was getting into.
There's a lot of weird flaws along the way but tries harder than most books of a way more literary persuasion. I have complex feelings that I have a hard time putting into words, but overall I enjoyed it a lot.
There's also a pretty big fan community which I know appeals to a lot of people, the author seems like a cool person too.
