I enjoyed the heck out of this first volume of Jon's sort of new space opera (volume three just came out),. Fun characters, interesting universe, relatively fast paced. What more could you ask for? Set a few thousand years in the future when the last member of an alien uber-race that controls the galaxy dies, it is all about what happens afterwards. Fun stuff! Can't wait to read the rest!
