This was so beautifully written, I loved it!! This story did not shy away from the complexities of long term relationships, homophobia, and the unsightly parts of myth. Their love was beautiful despite everything. Knowing all along that it will be a tragedy only made it more sad.
I noticed some spots where the tense went between past and present. I felt it must have been significant and someone smarter than me probably figured it out lol.
