Nino Falcone is definitely the best MMC in the whole series (maybe even the whole Cora Reilly universe.
This man killed her r*pist, tied himself to the headboard because she was afraid of his strength and taught her how to defend herself when he didn’t even feel emotions like she did. He never acted hurtfully towards her, always taking her feelings into consideration and taking hold of her wrist to take note of her heartbeat just to understand her.
As for Kiara, I really liked her softness and kindness but she was a bit too naive at times for someone raised in the New York Famiglia. I get women don’t participate in such stuff but still, she shouldn’t have been that naive.
Lastly, one of the things that this author does that absolutely hate is give harsh and quick endings. The end didn't feel like the book’s end but more like a chapter’s ending. Not a fan of that.
