Hear me out, I absolutely love Katee Robert and I know her books do not disappoint on many levels. I was not expecting this much fluff in a book about a dragon with a very specific anatomy. It is so, so heartwarming, so adorable, so soothing. Them trying to communicate as best as possible was also a relieve! They handled their situation with as much maturity as they could given their own backstories/past. Great sex scenes, also.
My only critic: the plot is based on a deadline, a specific deadline for their relationship. And I thought that considering this deadline, the relationship could be built a little bit slower. I would appreciate more moments of them getting to know and fall for each other.

Minor: Domestic abuse
One of the main characters is a domestic violence survivor - and this is a plot point discussed. It does not give too many details about the abuse (a little more in the first pages), but part of the relationship goes through discussing what is it to be a survivor trying to forge a new relationship.
