This is an intriguing novel about a group of children living in isolation on a secluded island. Although the plot was interesting, I couldn't connect to the characters and felt that some parts of the story were too slow. However, the audiobook format was well-executed, and I was able to listen to it while doing chores around the house, without getting bored. Overall, it was a decent experience.
