I have mixed feelings about this book. I listened to the audiobook version. I liked learning about SCOPE and its role in fighting for voting rights for Black people but I didn’t love the fact that is was told from a white person’s perspective. I also much preferred the 1965 timeline to the 2010 one and didn’t love Kayla’s character.
