Christine Blasey Ford is known for testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee about the sexual assault committed against her by a future Supreme Committe Justice. Here, she describes her reason for coming forward, the ways she was misled, the impact on her family, and how she is still healing from the assault and coming forward.

Blase Ford, under the #MeToo movement, speaks of her sexual assault by this man during their college years. She brings her allegations to who she thought was the right person - who sat on her allegations. When she is brought before the committee, she tells her story through a breaking voice with true emotion. Christine Blasey-Ford reads her own story and makes it truly personal. I was disappointed to hear her parents were not as supporitve as they should have been and that she makes excuses for their behavior instead of holding them accountable. She even describes how she has rarely spoken to her brothers since coming forward, which, to me, says a lot about them. Again, speaking for myself, Christine Blasey-Ford is a hero with untold strength, and I am so glad I read this book.
