Secret Circle Vol III: The Power by L.J. Smith, Devon Sorvari

Okay sorry to start this off like that, but the ending was super awkward. I just can't imagine a group of 8 people just watching on as the romantic drama between their three fellow covenants (is that the correct use of the word? I don't know and am also sick, so I don't care) is finally resolved and basically boils down to "well, go and have him, you're soulmates after all", like just imagine the awkwardness of watching that go down!!
Aside from that though I am still positively surprised by the series and enjoyed following the characters and their growth a lot. Diana is such a lovely character, because even though she's ridiculously perfect, it just works and she's so nice without seeming completely unrealistic. I really wish the books had been longer to the other characters could have had more screen time, as they are, 12 "main" characters was just too many to keep track off and properly integrate into a one POV story (and I'm not asking for multiple POVs, okay, I don't like those for the most part). But still there is so much love and compassion and understanding between the characters while still including natural differences in opinion and small fights, but the friendships felt real.
The plot was also interesting, even though funnily enough the plot seemed to be the least important thing in the whole trilogy, which I just thought was hilarious.
