It's In His Kiss by Julia Quinn

3.25

This is my formal dare for Julia Quinn to write a man with emotional regulation skills.
Why do 3 of the 4 men who marry into the family, have abusive fathers? Like what’s up with that?
I love Violet in this book, I love more of Lady Danbury, I love the infamy of Hyacinth to all who know her. My main complaint about Gareth is the way he interacts with Hyacinth after he sees his father
kisses her the first time with no consent bc his daddy upset him, then sleeps with her to ensure she can’t back out of the marriage, bc his dad made a sly remark about it
