I really appreciated the nature vs nurture portion at the end.  A fascinating take inside the mind of someone who is psychopathic genetically but not outwardly manifesting those traits as something society would see as a psychopath. I would be interested to know if the author’s wife wasn’t so forgiving and lenient could he have been triggered by interactions or turmoil into acting on those psychopathic traits lying underneath the surface.
