This book was recommended after reading Laura Purcell’s Moonstone as the relationship in Moonstone was what she wanted in Carmilla. This book was a very quick read as it is so short but I feel that not a lot happened. Carmilla is a vampire and has lived for a very long time but I felt the romance lacked substance and there was no character development.
