A slow, slow burn, be it for plot, characters, or romance ; not for people looking for a fast-paced read, or someone looking to get out of a slump, this book is a fight, but a well worth one if only for the the last third where everything comes together beautifully. 
The world building is some of the most intriguing ive seen, and the main character feels grounded in it, and true to herself from begining to end.
