Nancy's Mysterious Letter by Carolyn Keene

3.0

This book definitely feels different from the others before it. Possibly written by a man. There’s an emphasis on her and meds relationship that wasn’t there before and Nancy has an interest in things that didn’t exist before such as football. There’s an entire 15 minutes of describing a football game and I didn’t understand why it was there.
Nancy befriends the older mail carrier in the neighborhood brings him home with her for cocoa and winds up with his bag of letters being stolen. She’s on the hunt for the thief, saving a woman from being married to an evil man, and helping another to get a letter letting her to know that she has an inheritance in London and more.
This wasn’t bad but it felt weird and rushed. 3.5 is my score and onto number 9.
