Another amazing Neuhold book. The mention of flordia has me thinking about another book series they wrote and althought I don’t think they are connected there is no way I could miss the references to Rainbow House and nods to other series I’ve read by them.
Always consistently good books from Neuhold and I’ve been salivating for more “Bull Mechanics” and being in a reading slump lately this had me devouring it with no break and I’m happy to find this is an entire series I somehow hadn’t seen before.
I personally love everything about this book, friends to lovers, second chance, pining. These are some of my fav tropes along with a lot of mental illness talks because of Lincoln and his self harm. And Jace being a doctor? And both of them not really being players? Love that for us.
2/5 on spice. 1/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. Check trigger warnings; self harm, suicide mentioned frequently, alcohol, and a lot of sadness but it didn’t feel too heavy at the same time… somehow.
