Not as good as The Guest List, but I could’ve still read it in one sitting. I like the setting of the story; Paris, the luxurious (but old) apartment and the (very) different main characters. But I did (kind of) guessed the ending (and a couple of mysteries throughout the story) and a part of me is happy with the ending, but the other part of me was expecting a bit more. Although, I really like how Lucy Foley writes in short chapters alternating the narration between all the main characters. It keeps the story on a good pace and makes it a fast-read. I also really like how she slowly uncovers one puzzle at a time and at the end everything makes sense. I was less surprised by the format because I read The Guest List, but you wouldn’t want to put it down.
