Thank you for the eARC of this book! 🫶
House of Night by Celia Aaron is a dark and gripping read that kept me on edge the entire time. The tension is masterfully built, leaving me constantly wondering what would happen next. It has strong Beauty and the Beast vibes with a touch of Quicksilver, blending mystery, danger, and an undeniable pull between the characters though I was always wondering “why?”.

The world-building is immersive, though it sometimes takes precedence over plot progression. However, with a sequel on the horizon, I expect many of the lingering questions (especially after that well-executed cliffhanger) to be answered. The writing is beautifully descriptive, without revealing too much too soon.
That said, this book is quite dark, so I highly recommend checking the trigger warnings before diving in.
