for 18 years this woman’s lyrics have been my saving grace. growing up with her has been one of the greatest privileges of my life and a light through all of my darkness. she has brought me some of the best friendships and experiences that i could ever dream of. feeling connected to the way that someone tells their story through their art is incredibly special and is one of the things i cherish most in this world. what a beautiful thing it is to love things passionately. what a beautiful thing it is to feel less alone while a song plays. getting the speak now taylor’s version announcement (my favorite album) at my eras tour show and then immediately scream singing “sparks fly” with a stadium full of swifties, remains one of my favorite memories. thank god i got debut for christmas in 2006 and never looked back. forever and always tay
