There are so many pieces of this book that could’ve been executed better - but I devoured this very quickly. It may have helped that I’m unfamiliar with The Twelve Dancing Princesses so all of this felt new/different to me. I’d have liked to see more depth to the characters and the whole we-met-yesterday-and-now-we’re-in-love piece was a bit much for me. Overall, I was lost enough in the story to disregard the issues.
