You don’t need to know Greek mythology to enjoy the book, but all the little details are really satisfying if you do.
It’s kind of odd. This book feels like a fast paced book wearing a slow paced mask. It reads very quickly despite the story not feeling that way. This is one I’d recommend to get out of a reading slump.
I definitely recommend the book. The story is good, the characters are fun to read, and it’s satisfying. It’s obvious the author put a lot of time and research into it.
There are aspects that are definitely on the side of needing a warning for some people, so make sure you check out the trigger warnings on other reviews or sites before reading if you know you’re sensitive to certain types of content.
