Was this a reheated microwaved version of From Blood and Ash? Yes, yes it was. Do I particularly care? No, not really.
This was an easy read. Which never really happens for fantasy books. Not the biggest fan of the ‘insta love’ troupe. And I do wish this had a bit more foreplay before the characters started putting their hands down each other’s pants.
Anyways, this was a nice pallet cleanse. I’ll continue on with the series.
