Windwitch by Susan Dennard

If you're in the mood for fantasy then READ THIS.
If not, then wait until you are.

This book was way better than the first one. The beginning was a blast, the characters were hilarious and a lot of things happened since Truthwitch.

Safiya fon Hasstrel might have been a poor geography student, but even she knew this crescent-moon bay was not the capital of Marstok.

Aeduan followed, careful to stay a footstep behind. Not because he felt Corlant deserved the lead, but because it pleased him to watch the man constantly crane his neck backward to speak.

Those were just some of the funny lines on this novel.
This book circles around five different third person POVs, four of which we knew from Truthwitch (Merik, Safi, Iseult, Aeduan) and the fifth being Vivia. There were some subtle similarities to the Falling Kingdoms Series (The book cover for one) but the story was still original on its own.
There was no romance going on at all. No kissing, no making out, Nothing. I'm not even sure if my ship is going to end up together *cross fingers* so if you're looking forward to Safi & Merik getting-to-know-each-other-stage then you're in for a disappointment but if you're looking forward to Iseult and Aeduan's progress then I guess you will be sated (a little).

The plot was a little dragging at the middle part but it eventually picks up, so be patient there. I can't say anything further without spoiling you, I guess this will be enough. So far I love this series and I am so pumped for the third book which will be entitled BLOODWITCH and it'll focused more on Aeduan (my bae) the way TRUTHWITCH focused on Safiya and WINDWITCH on Merik.
