Kafka a tengerparton by György Erdős, Haruki Murakami
3.0
I wanted to love this book so bad, I love Murakami, I love his style, I love magical realism. But this just didn’t make any sense for me. I was hoping even in the last 20 pages that maybe it will all come together in the last chapter, but it didn’t. Some things did, but I felt like more and more threads were introduced constantly, and it’s not even that these weren’t explained in the end, but I felt like most of it was just unnecessary and didn’t add too much to the story as a whole. Anyway, the writing was fine of course, but overall it was a disappointment for me.
