I am a massive fan of the series Critical Role and Vox Machina and let me just say I did a massive happy dance when I was approved for this ARC. I love Thea Guanzon’s writing style, the cosy, spicy elements to this book were top notch. Seriously, it took everything I love about Vox Machina and turned it into a perfect fantasy romance novel. Add in the vibes of Anastasia, Frozen and Tangled, it was always going to be one of the best books I’ve read all year.
As a side note, you do not need to know anything about the Critical Role/Vox Machina world to enjoy the book, so I would recommend it to anyone.
