This is one of those books that just leaves you indifferent at the end. I did not hate it enough to not continue reading, but I did not love it enough to want to finish it quickly. This is about a story that truly does not enjoy being together. They go on a trip and as a result they learn so much of eachother. The author created an incredibly relatable story about how a family deals with hard subjects like suicide, alcoholism, and abandonment. I wanted a little more from this book, but it was good for what it was: a beach read.
