Was expecting so much for this "she thought he hates her but he's in love with her since forever" kind of trope. The plot has so much potential. But I'm not convinced of their chemistry. I also hated Brielle's parents and how they just don't care about her at all. It's a good thing that the cops didn't let go of the case eventhough her parents did and Marigold's parents stepped in to take care of her for the meantime in the end. Anyway, I also didn't like the writing because sometimes it felt a bit wattpad-y and boring. Disappointed because this is my first Claire Kingsley book.
