I’ve said it many times, but let it be said once more! Jill Shalvis is my happy place!
She’s one of the very few authors who can give me happy feels from page one to the end of the book.

Her Animal Magnetism series is in my opinion the next best thing next to her Lucky Harbor series. An imaginary world that I only wish was true, and knowing that if it was I would move there in a minute.

Me and some other addict friends actually have it all figured out.

I would open a bakery, (not sure if in Lucky Harbor or Jackson at this point, my guess is either.) my friends would open a paper goods shop and a bookstore, and we would all meet our caring alphas there.

Sigh.
I can really picture it, lol!

Jill Shalvis’ books are full of good feels and fantasy material. Take her men for example, I know the trend in romance books seems to be the Jerk kind, the Alpha Asshole, (they’re a thing, let me tell you.) but get this, Jill Shalvis does not indulge in this particular kind. Her Alphas are what I like to think of The Real Deal. Caring, funny, cocky, arrogant, protective, honorable, sexy… Her men are all that. Without never, ever, falling into the “asshole” category.

It’s safe to say that All I Want was yet another success from Jill Shalvis, as she beautifully and skillfully delivered here a swooning, sexy and hilarious story!

Now get this, Zoe Stone is a… PILOT. How kick-ass is that? You will fall in love with Zoe, sassy and independent young woman, for many years she took care of her younger brother and sister, their parents, diplomats for the US government have been stationed out of the country for a long time now. She inherited from their grandparents house in Jackson, Idaho, where the 3 siblings grew up and lived over the last years.

Now on her own, she’s ready to date again and envisage her future in a relationship. The book opens on the night of her first blind date, courtesy of her little hellion of a sister.

Holy crap on a stick—he’s hot for a guy named Newman.

Special Agent Parker James, is on forced vacation leave after his last operation went down, causing the life of his partner. Stubborn man, he can’t force himself to listen to the orders he received to not follow the trail that would lead him to the men responsible for his partner death. Trail that led him near Jackson, Idaho. And what a happy coincidence, his best friend, Wyatt Stone lives there and deftly proposed him to stay at his old house, as in Zoe’s house.

Here starts the impromptu and full of surprises co-living between Parker and Zoe. Chemistry was instant between our roommates and I loved the slow burn romance Shalvis delivered here, SO GOOD! And hilarious!

Imagine an instant, you, living with a sexy as sin stranger in your old house, no locks on the bathroom door, I mean, you can imagine some serious bathroom shenanigans, right? No? Here are some inspirational gifs for you. (also, HOTTEST shower scene EVER)

You have a handled in there. Do you ever use it when you think of me?

Another thing to consider with the Animal Magnetism series. The animals. They’re just as important as the main characters, and Jill Shalvis will not only make you laugh and swoon, she will get you to care about her animals. I loved the dog and the cats in this book. Oreo alone played a huge part in the relieving comedy moments and I truly fell in love with this dog.

I loved everything in All I Want, the inner thoughts of Zoe, snarky and quirky heroine, the all around good guy vibe from Parker, the steamy sex scenes, the banter… All of it!

All I Want was a great mix of romance, suspense and feel good times, it sure will leave you with a huge grin on your face and a need for more, more of Jill Shalvis men. (Overindulging is recommended!)

All I Want” can be read as a standalone, however, I cannot recommend you enough to read the previous book in this series, all will put a smile on your face and flutters in your heart.
