Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi

5.0

FINALLY!!!!! The final book in a trilogy doesn't break some part of my heart. I smiled the entire time that I read this. Thank you Tahereh Mafi for creating Warner. A character I could shameless fangirl over. I loved this book for several reasons, but mostly I loved the character development.

Warner was more present in this book. I loved the sweet scenes with him. His development throughout this entire series has made him one of my favorite characters EVER. To go from a villain, to a misunderstood annoyance to a true love interest is a great feat, and I loved every bit of it. Kenji was still a great comic relief, but he was given more depth in the book. I would love a Kenji spin-off. Really. Can we start a Twitter campaign for that? #kenjispinoff. Kenji is my second favorite character in this book because of the multiple roles he plays and the spirit his has when playing each one.

Also, I loved that this was a true phoenix tale. To watch Juliette transform for a scared girl to a young woman ready to change the world was awesome. She literally died and arose as a great and powerful force to be reckoned with. I loved her in this book. So confident and determined. You have to stop and wonder where did the old Juliette go. She died in Unravel Me. Its a simple as that, and I for one was so happy to see her go.

To simply put it. 5 freaking stars people. 5 freaking stars.
