Wouldn’t recommend this as a follow up to “letters to a young poet”…a difficult and very dense read despite its length. Every word Rilke says has so much thought behind it. One could spend hours analyzing every story to try and understand it’s place. Although are we supposed to fully understand it? He wrote it for the children!
