Cabin Fever by Alisha Rai
3.0
This took a while to get going but once it did I enjoyed it.
The big bad secret that hung over Genevieve was annoying, she was clearly martyring herself for whatever reason and it just got a bit dull to read again and again how felt she was a terrible person who deserved her penance without getting the details.
The paranormal/witchy aspect played a really small part of the story- it really didn't impact the plot that much at all and it's all a bit vague an unexplained, I really like paranormal books so I was a bit disappointed.
Could have done without the transphobic 'joke' half way through.
