Twisted Love by Ana Huang

3.0

Pretty forgettable, but the twist in the middle was interesting and I was not expecting it. I just wish we had delved into that a bit more. I hate it when people flippantly say that the pacing in a book is weird, but this one really was off. Some parts of the book had good build-up and descriptions and with others, random things were happening really fast with poor build-up and/or poor follow-up. I think the author has an interesting premise here, but it needs more of a punch to really deliver. Perhaps the next few books get better? It wasn't terrible by any means. I just expected a lot of the major events to have more substance. Josh's reaction to the two main characters is also really rushed, though I am glad he wasn't too weird or possessive about it.
