* loved the concept of sea creatures inhabiting a scuba suit to visit the mysterious land of humans. I do wish there was more backstory on how the gang got together and why they thought things would be better on land (that part is kind of hinted at, but specific resolutions were unclear).
* I didn't really understand the whole deal with the "Jules" research and the giant squid - it felt very disconnected from the rest of the story
