Bareback by Chris Owen

5.0

Best book I've read all year! In fact, I'd line it up with my other favourites alongside Marie Sexton and Damon Suede. I love how the characters already had the more common issues sorted out quickly and efficiently (coming out, shame, all that jazz) - which lets Owen talk about the stickier topics that can be confronting and hard to answer.

To me, the best part was how Owen showed that trust and communication go hand in hand because you really can't have one without the other. That said, it also goes to show that love isn't enough for a prosperous relationship and I've never read a better book to describe this.

Also also also, there was a LOT of sex.
