This is my first Stephen King book (I know that's very shocking!!) and I absolutely loved this. I totally understand how this became the #goodreads Thriller Winner of 2019. I also want to thank Stephen King, for my toned forearms this week because this book honestly weighs 10lbs. It is SO big. I would not be surprised if @netflix picked this up and made it into a series. It seriously reminded me of Stranger Things but only season 1 where Eleven was being tested in the facility and she attacked those guards. (#IYKYK) I loved the way King wrote about kids in this book. He made them crass and tough while maintaining their innocence. I'm not really one to have a story play out clearly in my mind but King's writing is so vivid and detailed it felt like. I was there. I definitely do not recommend this story lightly, just because of the length, BUT this was a GREAT story that had be on the edge of my seat. What King book should I read next?!
