Thank you Berkley and NetGalley for the free e-arc in exchange for a honest review.
I think this book was really sweet. Elias and Sage are a match that makes sense. They’re both extremely understanding and supportive of each other. Elias falling hard was exactly what I wanted to see but other than that nothing stands out.
The last 30% of the novel was so questionable. And the resolution to it was too fast paced for my liking. As for the fake dating deal, I feel like they should’ve stopped fake dating sooner in the book because this plot line quickly gets lost in the book and doesn’t make sense.
I love time-skip epilogues but this one jumps 3 yrs and we’re presented with material that I would expect in a 5 yr-10 yr epilogue.
This book is cute but it doesn’t have any stand out characteristics.
