Gender Outlaws: The Next Generation by S. Bear Bergman, Kate Bornstein

2.0

*as a trans* I really wanted to like this book. And I will say it sparked me into enough gender chaos to make me cut my hair and get more piercings. However, the whole vibe is so rooted into assimilation. There were one too many articles about how being trans makes you better able to bridge the “male and female” divide in the office. I think this was strongly lacking a political perspective/basis/theme.
