✨📚 This book started out slow, but quickly picked up the pace, except in the spice department because that is a slooooooooow burn.

I really enjoyed the character development and the relationships that formed in the book. 

The plot twists were shockingly good, and obviously I am ready for book 2.

This book touched on some heavy issues, such as racism, abandonment and addiction. 

There was also great representation of LGBTQIA+ and disability.

Highly recommend picking up this Canadian Author!!!
