Wild Love by Elsie Silver

5.0

“Wild Love” is the first book in Elsie Silver’s newest small town romance series, Rose Hill, and it’s Ford Grant Junior and Rosalie “Rosie” Belmont’s story.

Ford and Rosie have known each other for most of their lives: she’s his best friend’s baby sister, and they’ve always blurred the lines between love and hate.

Now they’re both adults, and although there’s a few obstacles in their way, the spark between them is stronger and more apparent than ever before.

I loved Ford and Rosie’s story! It has a bunch of my favorite tropes, including single dad, small town, billionaire, and brother’s best friend. Ford and Rosie’s banter was also top notch, it was incredibly amusing and I very much enjoyed their interactions.

I thought Ford was very broody, and maybe a little arrogant, but the way he’s willing to do anything for the people he cares about, such as Rosie or his newfound daughter Cora, showcases an entirely different, softer side of him.

Rosie was also so much fun to read about. She was bold and fiery and sarcastic and quirky, and she didn’t apologize for any of it. She was very uniquely herself, and I loved that about her. I highly recommend both “Wild Love” and Elsie Silver as an author!
