This book was a sluggish read because for the first two-thirds of it nothing exhilarating happens, the story during those pages is just entertaining because you have read the first book and have grown accustomed of the characters but overall you are just reading hoping to get to a better part, and fortunately, it does.
Once the games are ending, the action you have been expecting since the end of book one is coming back again. With action back into the story, you feel like you are reading quite fast from that point, and suddenly, the book is finished.
Thankfully I do not have to wait for the third and final book to come out, since it has been out for years now, so I hope to read the conclusion of this overall great story by the end of this year.
