The narrator for the audiobook is Dominic Hoffman and he was so good that he's going on my list of GOAT audiobook narrators. He's only the second to make it onto that list.
This book is, in my opinion, perfect. It's much more than a plot: it's a whole community. Everyone is padded out so beautifully and all the ends are woven in so expertly that I feel like I could look these people up in the library and find evidence of their real lives.
It is sad and at times, desperate. But it's also joyous, funny and hopeful. I very rarely read books again but this is going on my list to do so.
