this book was hauntingly and tragically soulful, from start to end. i dont remember the last time a book has made me feel this heavy, the story of CoraDean truly embodies ‘there’s always a rainbow after the rain’ and boy did that rain pour like dark hell
this is so much more than a dark romance. it’s pain and struggles and conflicts and doubts and a very very long and hard path to healing. it’s full of raw emotions that will make your heart ache for the things these two went and had to go through, both together and alone
Still Beating will definitely stick with me, as much as Lotus did (which i read over a year ago and absolutely loved too) please look up trigger warnings before reading this!
