This is the second time I've finished this book and probably not the last.

The characters are great, even the ones that are not exactly likable, like Jacque and Michi. I loved the science and how the author makes it seem like this is actually a possible scenario. For me, the book is enthralling from beginning to end, although some may find the beginning a bit slow. I didn't feel that way at all, the slow beginning introduces the characters and the backstory and I wasn't bored for a second.

Overall great book with an interesting premise, great writing and characters. One of my favourite horror books.
