American Christmas by Adriana Herrera

4.0

3.5 for the story (B-)
4.5 for the narration by Sean Crisden (B+)

This is a sweet novella about two side characters from the American Dreamers series. It's best if you are familiar with the series, and perhaps ideal to read after American Love Story. It's a nice rift on a classic Christmas tale, but just a little too sweet.

Sean Crisden has rapidly become one of my favorite narrators, and he's wonderful here. My only complaint is that while he kept the voices for the large cast of characters mostly consistent, the ones he didn't narrate with the same voices were Yin and Ari. The change wasn't huge, but it bothered me some.
