The Perfect Mother by Aimee Molloy
2.0
I found the story engaging, and a few of the characters struck me as real and sympathetic. But ultimately the plot left a bad taste in my mouth. A series of people dealing with misfortunes are presented as potential villains as the mystery unfolds--including a rape victim, someone who is bipolar, and a grieving mother who lost a baby at birth.
